Americans love gambling and making predictions, so it's no wonder that everyone goes nuts during March Madness, the culmination of the men's college basketball season. Likely you or someone you know filled out your guesses for which teams will take each round of the tournament, but check out this reinvention of the now ubiquitous bracket.

At first glance, this poster design by Olly Moss for the upcoming Academy Awards might seem fairly simple. But his challenge—which he pulled off masterfully—was to somehow depict every Best Picture winner since 1927 while incorporating the Oscar statuette (well, utilize him in most cases). Check out the design and see how many of the films you can name!

How does this poster rank on the EW list? (photo)

Hot on the heels of the latest James Bond poster, I happened upon this Entertainment Weekly article counting down the top 25 movie posters of the year. My favorites from their list include those for The Bourne Legacy, Django Unchained, The Paperboy, and Wreck-It Ralph.

An awesome film calls for an awesome movie poster. (photo)

I saw Skyfall, the new James Bond film, on opening weekend—a very rare occurrence for me—with my dad and friend and completely loved it. But besides the movie, I also really dig this particular poster.  Always drawn to minimalistic design, I love how this one kind of bucks tradition by drawing your eye to the bottom and then up. The classy folks behind 007 succeed yet again at leaving my designer's eye stirred, not shaken.
